80th anniversary of the D-Day landings

This year's service was particularly significant as it marked the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the 25th anniversary of the end of the war in Kosovo. The Royal British Legion's veteran parade saw 10,000 veterans from 326 different armed forces and civilian organizations marching past the Cenotaph.

The Royal Family's presence at the Remembrance Day service underscored their unwavering commitment to honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who have served their country. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of remembering and respecting the contributions of the armed forces and their families.
