In a heartfelt announcement today, Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, shared the uplifting news that she is now in remission from cancer. The announcement was made during her visit to The Royal Marsden Hospital, where she received treatment over the past year.

Princess Kate expressed her gratitude to the medical staff at The Royal Marsden for their exceptional care and support. She stated, 'It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. During her visit, Princess Kate also took the opportunity to offer personal advice to other cancer patients, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and appreciating the small things in life. She shared her own experiences and the challenges she faced during her treatment, providing encouragement and hope to those currently undergoing similar journeys.

In addition to her announcement, Princess Kate revealed that she will be stepping into a new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, alongside Prince William. In this role, she hopes to support groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promote patient and family wellbeing.
