The Royals Summer Break 2018

The Royal Family are enjoying a week off for the first time this year since January, as there are no official appointments in their agenda. This means the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry and other relations will be starting their summer holidays.
Each week the Royals complete many engagements, from supporting charity initiatives to welcoming a large amount of the public into Buckingham Palace. However, the hard-working royals can finally have some downtime this week from all these royal activities.

Prince Harry & Meghan

Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle visited the Sentebale Polo Cup at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. It was the final official appointment for the Newly-weds who now have the next month off from public duties.
However royal enthusiasts can expect Meghan’s next outing is to be on her birthday; the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to attend Charlie Van Straubenzee’s wedding, a close friend of the Prince, on the 4th of August in Surrey. The prince and Charlie Van Straubenzee attended Prep School together in Berkshire. Harry and Charlie have been close friends, but until recently, it had not been confirmed that the wedding would be on the same day as Meghan’s 37th birthday.

The Queen

Earlier this month, the Queen visited Scotland where she usually spends her extended summer holiday until autumn time. Prince Philip accompanied the Monach, while other members of the Royal Family are due to visit them at Balmoral from August to September.
A surprise entrance was made by Her Majesty on Sunday, attending a service at Crathie church in Aberdeenshire – not far from her official abode.
