Summer at balmoral 2018

Church service at Crathie Firk

Sunday (27/08/2018) morning at Balmoral and the Queen is attending church with her grandchild, the Duke of Cambridge. William and his wife Kate travelled with the Queen in her Bentley when they returned to Balmoral after the church service. There was no sign however of Prince’s George, Louis or Princess Charlotte. the 3 younger members of the royal family stayed within Balmoral Castle. It is one of only a few public outing by the Duchess of Cambridge since the birth of Prince Louis four months ago. The Duchess looked striking in her grey coat, black hat and radiant smile. Kate joined Her majesty in the rear of the car and William sat in the front.

Other Members of the Royal Family attended the service at Crathie Firk. This included, Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Edward. prince Edward attended with his wife, Sophie and their daughter Lady louise Windsor. Princess Anne was accompanied by her husband, Sir Timothy laurence and their daughter in law, Autumn Phillips.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Visit

The Queeen has also been joined at Balmoral Castle by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They arrived for the Bank Holiday Weekend to spend time with other members of the Royal Family.

 

Grouse Shoot

During this royal holiday Prince George went on his first ever Grouse hunt. This is a long time tradition of the Royal Family when visiting Balmoral Castle.
